GETC Programme
The GETC phase is an exciting time for the children at the College. They are introduced to new
friends, new subjects new sporting codes and the prospect of kayaking on the lake and hiking in
the mountains. The academic program follows the prescribed GETC learning areas with the added dimension of dad - dream and do with its unique synthesis of adventure and technology. The emphasis in this phase is clearly on assisting the new enrolments to make the adjustment into
high school with as little discomfort as possible. The focus is on fun and learning as a fun activity. Despite the enjoyment component of the academic program, we very focused on deadlines and delivery and make every effort to teach the pupils the importance of accountability.

dad centre
The dad centre (dream and do) is utterly unique. Here, we combine outdoor education and academic subjects to develop SMART pupils.  We realise that our global economy needs young people who are SMART.
They have to have skills that go beyond the ordinary and outside the classroom.  It allows the
pupils to dream and do; to realise their potential and act upon it. The programme is focused within
the GETC phase subjects.

Smart pupils are educated to be:

  • Solution finders
  • Calculated risk takers
  • Financially astute
  • Confident communicators
  • Good friends

FET Programme
In the senior phase, the pupils focus on the requirements of the Independent Examinations Board and the national matriculation examination written at the end of Grade 12. These include the following FETC subjects for Matric. Compulsory subjects: English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Life Orientation. Three choice subjects from: Accounting, Biology, Physical Science, History, Geography, CAT, IT, Art, and Economics. Significantly, most graduate pupils proceed to tertiary educational institutions.
