Stanford Lake College is the premier Adventure School in South Africa which is involved in kayaking, rafting, rock-climbing activities, as well as whole-year group treks and expeditions. Stanford Lake College provides Adventure as a school subject with the ability to utilise the dad Centre's equipment. The adventure curriculum focuses on creating individuals who are SMART, whilst recognising their full educational potential.  Learners are equipped with mental skills such as perseverance, dedication and focus. The dad Centre staff consider these important in ensuring kids live their dream!

The Outdoor Centre at Stanford Lake College consists of three full-time staff members, as well as two International GAP Year Students.
