The Grade 8 year at Stanford is a fantastic learning experience. It's the first year of high school, new faces and a whole range of new learning opportunities.  Their introduction to to the acronym 'dad', the SMART programme is quiet an eye opener. The letter below introduces the expeditions that the Grade 8 are expected to do. The adventure curriculum for the grade 8 Students is predominantly focussed on ensuring the understand basic adventure skills such as packing a rucksack, cooking in the wilderness and hiking/camping in a safe and hygienic manner.
